Elm Hall & Foley 0-4-4 "Forney" Locomotives in the USA

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 2 (Locobase 12213)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 20 p. 29. Works number was 14979 in August 1896.

The EH&F was a sugar-cane railroad owned by Godchaux Sugar Company that ran some 20 miles in Louisiana's Assumption Parish west of New Orleans. This little tank burned coal, though, not sugar-cane waste.
